Here is the list of crimes a Nevada Department of Education proposal would have classified as crimes of moral turpitude.
■ Any offense of a sexual nature.
■ Any offense involving involuntary servitude or trafficking in persons.
■ Any offense of a violent nature.
■ Unlawful possession of use of a firearm, explosive or other weapon.
■ Terrorism.
■ Abuse, neglect or endangerment of a child or abuse, neglect, endangerment or abandonment of an older person or vulnerable person.
■ Arson.
■ Burglary or receipt of stolen property. ■ Kidnapping or false imprisonment.
■ Aiding or harboring a fugitive.
■ Identify theft.
■ Any offense committed under the color of authority.
■ Bribery, extortion or coercion.
■ Manufacturing, cultivation or distribution of a controlled substance.
■ Cruelty to animals.
■ Possession of a controlled substance. ■ Contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
■ Fraud.
■ Embezzlement.
■ Forgery or counterfeiting.
■ Grand larceny.
■ Theft or facilitating theft.
■ Driving under the influence of alcohol or a prohibited substance.
■ Petit larceny.
■ Attempt, conspiracy or solicitation to commit any offense on the list.
■ Any offense substantially similar to offenses on the list.
