■ Red Sox 6, Indians 1 — At Cleveland, Mitch Moreland homered off Corey Kluber (12-4), who allowed two runs and struck out 12 over 7 2/3 innings, and Drew Pomeranz (13-4) struck out nine in 5 1/3 innings while winning his seventh straight decision.

■ Yankees 10, Tigers 2 — At Detroit, Gary Sanchez homered and drove in three runs, Luis Severino (115) held Detroit to one run and struck out eight in 6 2/3 innings, and Jordan Zimmermann (7-11) yielded seven runs for a third straight start.

■ Orioles 8, Athletics 7 — At Baltimore, Manny Machado hit a walk-off home run in the 12th after Baltimore closer Zach Britton allowed two runs in the ninth to end his Alrecord run of converting 60 straight save chances.

■ Blue Jays 7, Rays 6 — At

St. Petersburg, Fla., Kevin Pillar hit Toronto’s sixth home run of the game, a go-ahead shot in the eighth, as the Blue Jays halted a four-game skid.

■ Rangers 7, Angels 5 — At Anaheim, Calif., Rougned Odor hit a go-ahead sacrifice fly in Texas’ threerun 10th. Adrian Beltre homered twice for the Rangers, and Luis Valbuena had a three-run homer and an RBI single for Los Angeles.

■ White Sox 4, Twins 3 — At Chicago, Tim Anderson hit a walk-off single that scored Avisail Garcia from second in the ninth. Jorge Polanco homered for the fourth straight game for Minnesota. allowed one hit over seven innings, and fellow rookie Rhys Hoskins homered and drove in five runs.

■ Cardinals 6, Padres 2 — At St. Louis, rookie Luke Weaver (2-1) shut out San Diego on three hits and struck out 10 in seven innings, and Kolten Wong had three hits, three runs and two stolen bases.

■ Giants 4, Brewers 2 — At

San Francisco, Jarrett Parker hit a go-ahead two-run double in the seventh, and Buster Posey and Carlos Moncrief each had a sacrifice fly for San Francisco.

■ Cubs 9, Reds 3 — At Cincinnati, Kyle Schwarber hit a three-run homer for Chicago, and Tommy La Stella added a two-run shot while subbing for Kris Bryant (left hand contusion).

■ Mets 4, Diamondbac­ks 2 — At New York, Dominic Smith homered to back fellow rookie Chris Flexen (3-2), who held Arizona to two runs on six hits over six innings.
