Jaguars’ Fournette, Linder set to return from injuries

The Jacksonvil­le Jaguars will have rookie running back Leonard Fournette and center Brandon Linder back in the starting lineup Sunday against Cincinnati.

Fournette missed the team’s Week 7 game at Indianapol­is with a sprained right ankle. Linder sat out the past three games with an undisclose­d illness.

Wide receiver Marqise Lee (knee) also was listed as questionab­le but said he expects to play.

Coach Doug Marrone said rookie wide receiver Dede Westbrook, who was on injured reserve the first eight weeks of the season after core muscle surgery, could be activated. Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium. The rookie second-round pick underwent arthroscop­ic knee surgery in late August. It is unclear if his addition will suffice for the Raiders, who also have a cornerback, undrafted rookie Breon Borders, on the practice squad should they elect to promote him.

The team plans to activate Melifonwu no later than Saturday at 1 p.m. PT.

A correspond­ing move must be made to clear roster space.

“Yeah, we think we’ll get him up,” coach Jack Del Rio said. “He’s had a good week, and he’s a versatile guy. A guy we had big designs for before he suffered the injury. So he’s back to full strength, and we look forward to having him.”
