“I’m the type of coach, same as when we won the 7-0 game (against Colorado on Oct. 27) … that’s in the past,” Gallant said. “We’ll move on and hopefully play a real good game (Thursday).”

Going streakin’

David Perron recorded an assist on James Neal’s goal Tuesday and now has an assist in five straight games. He leads the Knights in scoring with five goals and 10 assists.

Erik Haula saw his streak of four straight games with at least one point end against the Oilers.

Fighting cancer

The Knights will host their Hockey Fights Cancer Night on Nov. 28 when they face the Dallas Stars at T-mobile Arena.

The team will wear special lavender jerseys during warmups that will be auctioned. All proceeds, along with money raised from the 51/49 raffle, will benefit the health and wellness portion of the Vegas Golden Knights Foundation and the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation.
