Wide receiver Hurns gets two-year deal with Dallas

Free-agent wide receiver Allen Hurns agreed to a two-year deal worth up to $12 million with the Dallas Cowboys.

Hurns, 26, initially planned to meet with the New York Jets after being released Tuesday by Jacksonvil­le.

But snowy weather conditions in the Northeast prompted Hurns to meet with the Cowboys instead.

Eagles: Defensive end Michael Bennett was indicted by a Texas grand jury on a felony charge of injuring a 66-year-old paraplegic woman in February 2017 at NRG Stadium.

Chargers: Defensive tackle Corey Liuget was suspended without pay for four games for violating the NFL’S policy on performanc­e-enhancing substances.

Seahawks: Free-agent defensive tackle Tom Johnson, 33, agreed to a oneyear, $2.7 million deal with Seattle.

Broncos: Denver acquired offensive tackle Jared Veldheer, 30, from Arizona for a sixth-round draft pick.

Jets: Free-agent wide receiver Terrelle Pryor, 28, agreed to a one-year deal with New York.

Dolphins: Free-agent quarterbac­k Brock Osweiler, 27, agreed to a one-year deal with Miami.

Browns: Free-agent cornerback

E.J. Gaines, 26, agreed to a one-year deal with Cleveland.

Cardinals: Cornerback Bene Benwikere, 26, agreed to a one-year deal with Arizona.

Patriots: Tight end Martellus Bennett, 31, announced his retirement.

Vikings: Guard/center Joe Berger, 35, announced his retirement.
