Sixers roll, tie team mark with 14th straight victory

PHILADELPH­IA — J.J. Redick scored 18 points as the surging Philadelph­ia 76ers matched a franchise record with their 14th consecutiv­e victory, 109-97 over the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday.

Ben Simmons added 16 points, nine assists and seven rebounds, and Robert Covington had 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Sixers.

Two years after going 10-72, Philadelph­ia (50-30) clinched home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs.

At Los Angeles, Donovan Mitchell had 28 points, nine rebounds and eight assists for Utah, which clinched a playoff spot. Five teams still are in the running for the West’s final four postseason berths.
