Las Vegas woman killed in crash on 215 Beltway

A Las Vegas woman was killed Saturday night when her car hit an unoccupied vehicle on the shoulder of the 215 Beltway near Sahara Avenue, the Nevada Highway Patrol said.

The woman, 46, was driving a white Mazda3 north on the Beltway, just south of Sahara, when “for unknown reasons” her car slammed into the back of a silver Pontiac Sunfire that was parked on the right shoulder, Highway Patrol spokesman Jason Buratczuk said in a Sunday release.
