Benn, Stars halt Blues’ record win streak at 11

Stars captain Jamie Benn had his first multi-goal game since Oct. 6 as Dallas beat St. Louis 5-2 on Thursday, ending the Blues’ franchise-record 11-game win streak.

At Montreal, Brendan Gallagher notched his first hat trick, backing Carey

At Nashville, Tenn., Roman Josi had a goal and an assist to back Pekka Rinne, who had 28 saves, as Nashville moved atop the Central Division with its third win in four games.

At Edmonton, Alberta, Connor Mcdavid scored 1:22 into overtime and had an assist as Edmonton stopped a five-game skid with its second win in 13 games.

At Vancouver, British Columbia, Alex Galchenyuk scored 1:54 into overtime and had an assist as Arizona won for the fifth time in seven games.

At Newark, N.J., Cory Schneider made 30 saves in his 25th shutout and first since November 2017, and Miles Wood had a goal and an assist.

At New York, Zach Parise had a goal and an assist to back Devan Dubnyk, who stopped 33 shots, as Minnesota halted a five-game slide.
