Warmbier’s mother speaks about N. Korea as ‘cancer’
The mother of the late Otto Warmbier, who died at age 22 in 2017 after spending 17 months in a North Korean prison for allegedly trying to steal a poster, slammed the reclusive nation and called it “a cancer on the Earth” in new comments.
Cindy Warmbier spoke emotionally about her son at a Hudson Institute event.
“North Korea to me is a cancer on the Earth. And if we ignore this cancer, it’s not gonna go away. It’s gonna kill all of us,” Warmbier said.
