Journalist stabbed to death Mexico’s 12th killed in 2019
Mexico’s National Human Rights Commission said a 12th journalist has been slain in the country this year.
Local media outlets identified the victim as Nevith Condés Jaramilllo, founder of a news website called El Observatorio del Sur. He was found stabbed to death Saturday at his home in the town of Tejupilco.
“Violence against journalists, in all its forms, is one of the principle obstacles for our country to consolidate as a democracy,” the commission said in a statement.
