Lions activate rookie DE, put FB on injured reserve

Detroit activated rookie defensive end Austin Bryant (torn pectoral) from injured reserve and placed fullback Nick Bawden (knee) on IR.

Bryant, a fourth-round draft pick who hasn’t played this season, had 20 sacks and 32 quarterback pressures in 29 starts for Clemson.

Bawden, a San Diego State product drafted in the seventh round in 2018, had four catches for 17 yards in 10 games this season.
