■ The Rebels face Air Force as they look to even their conference record.

The UNLV women made 10 of their first 11 shots Sunday, running past Air Force 68-57 for a Mountain West victory in Clune Arena at Air Force Academy, Colorado.

Nia Johnson had 17 points and Delaynie Byrne added 13 points and 10 rebounds for UNLV (10-7, 8-4 Mountain West).

COLLEGE BASKETBALL

UNLV shot 10-for-11 and led 26-9 after the first quarter. Overall, the Lady Rebels were 26-for-52 (50 percent). Air Force (4-11, 2-8 Mountain West) shot 20-for-67 (29.9 percent).

WOMEN

■ No. 1 Louisville 71, Notre

Dame 65 — At Louisville, Ky., Dana Evans scored 27 points for the Cardinals (18-1, 11-1 Atlantic Coast). Notre Dame (8-8, 6-6) shot 39 percent.

■ North Carolina 76, No. 4 North Carolina State 69 — At Chapel Hill, N.C., freshman Alyssa Ustby had season-highs of 20 points and 12 rebounds for the Tar Heels (9-8, 4-8 Atlantic Coast). Elissa Cunane scored 14 for the Wolfpack (12-2, 7-2).

■ No. 5 UCLA 84, Washington 50 —At Seattle, Charisma Osborne scored 21 points and Michaela Onyenwere 15 as the Bruins (11-3, 9-3 Pac-12) sent the Huskies (4-10, 1-10) to their eighth straight loss.

■ No. 6 Stanford 83, Utah 41— At Stanford, Calif., Kiana Williams had 13 points for the Cardinal (17-2, 14-2 Pac-12).

Lola Pendande scored 11 for Utah (5-11, 4-11).

■ No. 7 Texas A&M 69, No.

16 Arkansas 67 — At College Station, Texas, Kayla Wells had a season-high 21 points and Jordan Nixon made a layup with eight seconds remaining for Texas A&M (18-1, 9-1 SEC). The Aggies beat Arkansas (14-7, 4-6) by a point earlier this season.

■ No. 8 Baylor 64, Kansas State52— At Manhattan, Kan., Nalyssa Smith scored 17 for (14-2, 9-1 Big 12) Baylor. Ayoka Lee led Kansas State (511, 0-9) with 21 points.

MEN

■ No. 3 Villanova 84, Georgetown 74 — At Villanova, Pa., Jermaine Samuels scored a career-high 32 points for the Wildcats (12-2, 7-1 Big East.) Jahvon Blair scored 18 and Qudus Wahab 17 for Georgetown (5-9, 3-6).

■ Indiana 57, No. 8 Iowa 65— At Bloomingto­n, Ind., Armaan Franklin’s 15-footer with 1.8 seconds left sent Indiana to its second victory this season over the Hawkeyes. Franklin had four points as the Hoosiers (10-8, 5-6 Big Ten) ended a two-game losing streak. Luka Garza scored 18 for Iowa (13-6, 7-5).

■ Valparaiso 74, No. 25

Drake57— At Valparaiso, Ind., Ben Krikke scored 15 as Valparaiso knocked Drake (18-1, 9-1 Missouri Valley) from the unbeaten ranks. For the Crusaders (7-12, 4-6), it was just their second victory over a ranked opponent since beating Mississipp­i in the 1998 NCAA Tournament. Roman Penn scored 17 of his 19 in the second half for the Bulldogs.

MOUNTAIN WEST

■ UNR 73, Boise State 62

— At Reno, Grant Sherfield had a career-high 29 points for the Wolf Pack (14-7, 9-5 MW), which won their fourth straight. Derrick Alston Jr. scored 17 for the Broncos (14-4, 10-3).
