CAROLINE WESCOTT ARACE

-

Caroline Wescott Arace died unexpectedly on February 2, 2021 after a brief illness. Caroline was born in Bucksport, Maine on December 30, 1931. It was there where she grew up and married her sweetheart Bill Wescott. They raised 3 children together: Billy, Bobby and Barbara. The house on the River Road was always full of kids, parties, pets and most of all, love. She made the house a home. After the loss of her husband, Caroline moved to Naples Florida. She loved the warm climate and long walks on the beach. She embarked on a new career as a successful stock market day trader. During this time, she met and married her second husband, Anthony. Later they moved to Las Vegas, Nevada after having visited many times. Caroline loved Las Vegas; the dry climate, the warmth, the people and the casinos. She was a beautiful, remarkable woman who touched so many with her thoughtful, spirited and generous ways. For her children, her death leaves a void which can never be filled. Caroline was predeceased by her first husband, William E. Wescott and her second husband, Anthony Arace, her son William L. Wescott, her mother Goldie Lydick, stepfather Steven Lydick and granddaughter Tanya Wescott. She is survived by her son Robert Wescott of Verona Island, Maine and her daughter Barbara Wescott of Las Vegas. She also leaves several grandchildren and step grandchildren. No services are scheduled. Donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital.
