James’ triple-double powers Lakers past Thunder in OT

LOS ANGELES — Lebron James had 28 points, 14 rebounds and 12 assists for his third triple-double this season as the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 119-112 in overtime on Monday night to win their fifth in a row.

The Lakers tied their longest winning streak of the season despite being without Anthony Davis, who sat out with a sore right Achilles.

■ Hornets 119, Rockets 94: At Charlotte, N.C., Lamelo Ball made a career-high seven 3-pointers and finished with 24 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds for Charlotte. Victor Oladipo had 21 points to lead the Rockets, who lost for only the third time in 10 games.

■ Raptors 128, Grizzlies 113: At Memphis, Tenn., Fred Vanvleet and Pascal Siakam each scored 32 points for Toronto. Vanvleet also had nine assists. Jonas Valanciuna­s led Memphis with 27 points and a season-high 20 rebounds.

■ Wizards 105, Bulls 101: At Chicago, Bradley Beal, the NBA’S leading scorer, scored 35 points to lead Washington. Zach Lavine led Chicago with 35 points and Thaddeus Young scored 14.

■ Mavericks 127, Timberwolv­es 122: At Dallas, Kristaps Porzingis had 27 points, 13 rebounds and six blocks, Luka Doncic scored 26 points for Dallas. Malik Beasley tied a season high with 30 points, 27 in the second half.

■ Spurs 105, Warriors 100: At San Antonio, Dejounte Murray had 27 points, 10 rebounds and eight steals for San Antonio. Demar Derozan added 21 points and 10 assists. Stephen Curry had 32 points and Kelly Oubre Jr. added 24 for Golden State.

■ Suns 119, Cavaliers 113: At Phoenix, Devin Booker scored a season-high 36 points and Mikal Bridges added 22 for Phoenix. Colin Sexton led Cleveland with 23 points.

■ Bucks 125, Nuggets 112: At Denver, Khris Middleton had 29 points and a career-high 12 assists and Giannis Antetokoun­mpo scored 30 points for the Bucks. Nikola Jokic finished with 35 points and 12 rebounds for Denver.
