76ers end Clippers’ win streak at seven
Philadelphia nabs fourth straight victory
PHILADELPHIA — Joel Embiid had 36 points and 14 rebounds as the Philadelphia 76ers beat the Clippers 106-103 on Friday, snapping Los Angeles’ seven-game win streak.
Furkan Korkmaz added 18 points and Ben Simmons 12 points and nine rebounds for the Eastern Conference-leading Sixers, who have won four in a row.
Paul George had 37 points and nine rebounds for the Clippers, who last lost on April 1. Patrick Patterson added a season-high 18 points and Marcus Morris 15 for Los Angeles.
Kawhi Leonard (sore right foot) missed his fourth straight game for the Clippers.
It was the second straight game in which the Sixers beat one of the league’s marquee teams without its stars. Philadelphia got past Brooklyn 123-117 on Wednesday in a matchup between the East’s top two teams with James Harden and Kevin Durant sidelined.

At Washington, Russell Westbrook scored 10 of Washington’s 12 points in overtime, including two tiebreaking free throws with one second left after being fouled by Zion Williamson. Westbrook totaled 36 points, 15 rebounds and nine assists.
■ Jazz 119, Pacers 111: At Salt Lake City, Bojan Bogdanovic had 24 points and Rudy Gobert 23 rebounds for Utah, which lost Donovan Mitchell (right ankle sprain) in the third quarter after the All-star guard had scored 22 points. X-rays were negative.
■ Nuggets 128, Rockets 99: At Houston, Nikola Jokic had 29 points on 10-for-12 shooting, 16 rebounds and seven assists in 27 minutes for Denver, which held a 54-35 edge in rebounds to make up for 9-for-31 shooting from 3-point range.
■ Raptors 113, Magic 102: At Tampa, Fla., Paul Watson Jr. scored 20 of his career-high 30 points in the third quarter, when he hit 6 of 6 3-point tries, for Toronto, which used a different starting lineup for a sixth straight game.
■ Trail Blazers 107, Spurs 106: At San Antonio, C.J. Mccollum scored 29 points for Portland, which was without top scorer Damian Lillard (right hamstring strain). San Antonio missed three shots on its last possession.
■ Nets 130, Hornets 115: At New York, Kevin Durant had 25 points and 11 assists for Brooklyn, which hit 21 of 41 3-point tries. Miles Bridges had 33 points for Charlotte, which was missing five of its top six scorers.
■ Timberwolves 119, Heat 111: At Minneapolis, Karl-anthony Towns had 24 points to lead seven double-figure scorers for Minnesota, which overcame 21 turnovers to hand Miami its third straight loss.
■ Grizzlies 126, Bulls 115: At Chicago, Findlay Prep product Dillon Brooks scored 15 of his season-high 32 points in the third quarter for Memphis, which took a nine-point lead into the fourth.
■ Knicks 117, Mavericks 109: At Dallas, Julius Randle scored 44 points in the best game in his hometown, leading New York to its fifth straight victory — its longest win streak in seven years.

At Detroit, Josh Jackson scored 29 points for Detroit, which overcame a 15-point second-quarter deficit and the absence of seven key players.
