Suns edge Bucks in OT after last-second foul

Paul passes Magic for 5th in assists

MILWAUKEE — Devin Booker made a free throw with 0.3 seconds left after getting fouled on a jump shot to give the Phoenix Suns a 128127 overtime victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday night.

Chris Paul had 22 points, 13 assists and seven rebounds for the Suns, who were opening a five-game trip in which they play five of the top six teams in the Eastern Conference.

Paul increased his career assist total to 10,145 to overtake Magic Johnson (10,141) for fifth place in NBA history.

Mikal Bridges had 21 points and Deandre Ayton 20 to help the Suns rally from a nine-point, fourth-quarter deficit.

Giannis Antetokoun­mpo had 33 points, Khris Middleton 26 and Jrue Holiday 25 for the Bucks, who have lost five straight home games.

The game featured 24 lead changes and 16 ties. There were 20 lead changes in the first half alone.

■ Warriors 107, 76ers 96: At Philadelph­ia, Stephen Curry hit 10 3-pointers and scored 49 points in his 11 straight game with 30 or more points, topping Kobe Bryant for the most by any player 33 or older.

■ Wizards 119, Thunder 107: At Washington, Bradley Beal scored 30 points and Russell Westbrook recorded his 26th triple-double with 13 points, 17 assists and 11 rebounds for Washington. Darius Bazley scored a career-high 26 points for Oklahoma City, which extended its season-worst skid to 11 games.

■ Heat 113, Rockets 91: At Miami, Kendrick Nunn scored a season-high 30 points and Duncan Robinson and Goran Dragic each added 19 for Miami.

■ Pistons 109, Cavaliers 105: At Detroit, Frank Jackson scored 20 points, including a tiebreakin­g baseline drive in the final minute. Saddiq Bey added 20 points for Detroit.

■ Spurs 109, Pacers 94: At Indianapol­is, Derrick White scored 16 of his 25 points in the first quarter, while Jakob Poeltl finished with 16 points and seven rebounds in San Antonio’s second straight win.

■ Bulls 102, Celtics 96: At Boston, Nikola Vucevic had 29 points and nine rebounds and Coby White added 19 points and seven assists to help Chicago snap Boston’s season-high six-game winning streak.

■ Nuggets 139, Grizzlies 137

2OT: At Denver, Nikola Jokic had 47 points, 15 rebounds and eight assists, including a go-ahead 3-pointer late in the second overtime. Will Barton added 28 points for Denver.

■ Jazz 111, Lakers 97: Atlos Angeles, Jordan Clarkson scored 22 points and Joe Ingles added 21 with five 3-pointers. Kyle Kuzma scored all of his 17 points in the first three quarters for Los Angeles.
