Gourde scores in OT as Lightning top Canes
TAMPA, Fla. — Yanni Gourde scored 2:50 into overtime to give the Tampa Bay Lightning a 3-2 victory over the Carolina Hurricanes on Monday night in a critical matchup between Central Division contenders.
Alex Killorn and Brayden Point also scored for the Lightning. Andrei Vasilevskiy finished with 25 saves.
Point got his 300th career point on his 19th goal.

Skjei scored for Carolina, which has only one regulation loss in the past eight games. Petr Mrazek stopped 33 shots.

■ Stars 3, Red Wings 2 SO: At Dallas, Denis Gurianov scored in the fifth round of the shootout. Roope Hintz and rookie Jason Robertson scored in regulation for Dallas, with Miro Heiskanen assisting on both goals.
■ Predators 5, Blackhawks 2: At Nashville, Tenn., Luke Kunin and Calle Jarnkrok each scored a goal
and added an assist to back Juuse Saros, who finished with 30 saves.
■ Wild 5, Coyotes 2: At Glendale, Ariz., Kevin Fiala had a goal and an assist backing Cam Talbot, who stopped 22 shots.
■ Senators 4, Flames 2: At Calgary, Alberta, Connor Brown scored a short-handed goal and added an empty-netter. Josh Norris added a goal and an assist.
■ Oilers 4, Canadiens 1: At Edmonton, Alberta, Connor Mcdavid scored the winner late in the third period with 4:49 left. Mcdavid also had two assists. Jesse Puljujarvi added a goal and an assist.
