Eagles’ Raiche top-ranking female executive in league

-

Philadelphia promoted Catherine Raiche to vice president of football operations, making the 32-year-old Montreal native the highest-ranking female personnel executive in NFL history. Raiche spent five years in the Canadian Football League, most recently as Toronto’s director of operations, before joining the Eagles in 2019 as their operations/player personnel coordinator. Philadelphia also added former Jacksonville general manager Dave Caldwell as a personnel executive.

■ Falcons: The team has discussed several trade offers for disgruntled wide receiver Julio Jones, including a deal for a first-round draft pick, ESPN reported. The 32-year-old seven-time Pro Bowl selection twice has led the NFL in yards receiving but was limited to nine games in 2020 because of injury.

■ Texans: Coach David Culley refused to say if quarterback Deshaun Watson is with the team as it begins on-field practices. The 25-year-old three-time Pro Bowl selection’s future with the team is in question after 22 women filed lawsuits alleging he sexually assaulted or harassed them.

■ Titans: Cornerback Janoris Jenkins returned from a West Palm Beach, Florida, trip Wednesday to find his 2016 Rollsroyce Wraith — valued at $250,000 — stolen from Atlanta’s Hartsfield-jackson International Airport. The 32-year-old had left for Florida on May 5.

■ Chiefs: Three-time Pro Bowl quarterback Patrick Mahomes has been “full go” during the first week of voluntary workouts, three months after turf toe surgery and a month ahead of the 25-year-old’s original schedule, coach Andy Reid said.

■ Browns: Restricted free-agent wide receiver Khadarel Hodge, 26, one of the team’s top special teams players, signed a one-year, $2.33 million deal.
