THOMAS LYNN MORGAN

-

Thomas Lynn (Tom) Morgan was born beloved son of Pauline and Thomas Arthur Morgan on June 5, 1942 and passed away on May 27, 2021. He attended Thomas Jefferson H.S. in Port Arthur, TX and went on to gain his undergraduate degree from Lamar College. He volunteered into service with the National Guard, which moved him west to settle into the Las Vegas valley for for the rest of his life. He began his career path with Blythe, Eastman, & Dillan as a stock broker and later joined the Howard Hughes Corporation (Summa Corp). There he was afforded the opportunity to attend and graduate from Harvard University and earned an MBA degree; he then rose to the Chief Financial Officer position for several years prior to his retirement. Post retirement he became a consultant for several of the largest development projects in the Las Vegas valley. He started his family and is survived by his children Collyn and Durham Morgan and stepson Dane Horton. Tom was a man who knew how to have fun, and often the most charming "chap" in the room! He always loved a glass of wine or a nip of

single malt scotch, enjoyed entertaining, trips to the mountains, hunting trips with his buddies, and in later years spending time on the golf course with his clubs and devoted dog Sadie. After his passing, he was interned in his home town of Port Arthur, TX alongside his parents, adored grandmother Liza Jane, and his devoted Aunt Geri and Uncle Howard. The family

requests that any honor in their father's memory be directed to finding a cure for Alzheimer's disease.
