Oregon State dominant in rare victory over USC
LOS ANGELES — Chance Nolan was 15 of 19 passing for 213 yards and four touchdowns to lead Oregon State past Southern California 45-27 on Saturday.
Tyjon Lindsey had five catches for 102 yards and two TDS, and B.J. Baylor ran for 158 yards for the Beavers

(3-1, 1-0 Pac-12), who ended a 24game slide at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum dating to 1960. It was their fourth win in 49 road games (4-42-3) against the Trojans (2-2, 1-2).
Kedon Slovis threw for 355 yards with one TD and three interceptions for USC, which lost its second straight home game as a double-digit favorite. It was the first home game for interim coach Donte Williams, who replaced Clay Helton two days after the Trojans’ 42-28 loss to Stanford on Sept. 11.
Oregon State, which ran for 319 yards, scored on five straight drives starting in the second quarter — including two consecutive 92-yard marches, the latter capped by wide receiver Tre’shaun Harrison’s goahead 36-yard TD catch with 44 seconds left in the first half.
Beavers linebacker Jack Colletto had two 1-yard TD runs on direct snaps and a fourth-quarter interception. Keaontay Ingram ran for 79 yards and two TDS for USC.
■ No. 15 Brigham Young 35, South Florida 27: At Provo, Utah, Baylor Romney threw for 305 yards and three TDS for the Cougars (4-0), who had 443 yards of offense while averaging 8.9 yards per play. The Bulls (1-3), who trailed 21-0 in the first quarter, scored on three straight second-half drives.
■ Washington 31, California 24, OT: At Seattle, Sean Mcgrew scored his second TD of the night in overtime for the Huskies (2-2, 1-0 Pac12), who then forced and recovered a fumble by Golden Bears running back Damien Moore at the 1. Cal (13, 0-1) trailed 21-10 at halftime.
■ No. 3 Oregon 41, Arizona 19: At Eugene, Ore., Anthony Brown threw for 206 yards and three TDS for the Ducks (4-0, 1-0 Pac-12), who dealt the Wildcats (0-4, 0-1) their 16th straight loss. Arizona got as close as 24-19 on Drake Anderson’s 1-yard TD run late in the third quarter.
■ Arizona State 35, Colorado
13: At Tempe, Ariz., Jayden Daniels threw for 236 yards and ran for two TDS for the Sun Devils (3-1, 1-0 Pac12), who never trailed. The Buffaloes (1-3, 0-1) got within 14-10 early in the second half with their first TD in nine quarters.
■ Texas-el Paso 20, New Mexico 13: At El Paso, Texas, Gavin Hardison threw for 293 yards and a TD for the Miners (3-1), who overcame a 13-3 first-half deficit. The Lobos (2-2) had 288 yards of offense, including 123 on 35 rushes.
