Harmon helps Oregon to victory over No. 12 UCLA

EUGENE, Ore. — De’vion Harmon scored 17 points to help Oregon beat No. 12 UCLA 68-63 on Thursday.

Jacob Young had 14 points, and Will Richardson and Eric Williams Jr. each added 11 for the Ducks (18-10, 11-6 Pac-12), who swept the two-game regular-season series with the Bruins (20-6, 12-5).

Tyger Campbell and Cody Riley each had 12 points for UCLA, which lost top scorer Johnny Juzang to a first-half knee injury. Jaime Jaquez Jr. scored 10 points for the Bruins before fouling out.

Oregon led 35-30 at halftime and was up 53-44 before UCLA had a 10-0 run to take the lead with 5:23 left.

Richardson followed with two free throws, and Young added a jumper to put Oregon up 57-54. Harmon hit two free throws before Cody Riley converted a three-point play to get the Bruins within 59-57 with 2:55 to go.

Harmon followed with a 3-pointer, and N’faly Dante dunked for the Ducks.

■ No. 1 Gonzaga 89, San Francisco 73: At San Francisco, Chet Holmgren had 21 points and 15 rebounds for the Bulldogs (242, 13-0 West Coast), who shot 55 percent in their 17th straight win and 23rd in a row over the Dons (22-8, 9-6).

■ No. 22 Ohio State 86, No. 15 Illinois 83: At Champaign, Ill., freshman Malaki Branham scored 31 points for the Buckeyes (18-7, 11-6 Big Ten), who took control with a 14-2 second-half run. Alfonso Plummer had 26 points for the Illini (19-8, 12-5), whose 10-0 run got them within two points with 1:49 left.

■ No. 19 Murray State 76, Belmont

43: At Murray, Ky., K.J. Williams scored 30 points on 12-for-19 shooting for the Racers (27-2, 17-0 Ohio Valley), who clinched a regular-season league title. The Bruins (24-6, 14-3), who had won 10 straight, shot 32 percent and were outrebound­ed 40-22.

■ No. 23 Saint Mary’s 60, San Diego 46: At San Diego, Logan Johnson scored 14 points for the Gaels (23-6, 11-3 WCC) in their 16th straight win over the Toreros (14-14, 7-8).

■ No. 1 South Carolina 89, Texas A&M 48: At College Station, Texas, Aliyah Boston had 18 points and 10 rebounds for the Gamecocks (26-1, 14-1 Southeaste­rn), who buried the Aggies (14-13, 14-1) to clinch a regular-season league title.

■ No. 4 Louisville 66, Pittsburgh 55: At Pittsburgh, Emily Engstler had 17 points and 15 rebounds for the Cardinals (24-3, 15-2 Atlantic Coast), who held the Panthers (1117, 2-15) to 30 percent shooting and scored 20 points off 19 Pitt turnovers.

■ No. 6 Michigan 62, Michigan State 51: At Ann Arbor, Mich., Naz Hillmon scored 28 points for the Wolverines (22-4, 13-3 Big Ten), who opened the fourth quarter with a 10-0 run. Nia Clouden had 22 points for the Spartans (14-13, 8-8), who led by nine in the first half.

■ No. 8 Louisiana State 58, Alabama 50: At Baton Rouge, La., Khayla Pointer had 23 points, nine rebounds and eight assists for the Tigers (24-4, 12-3 SEC), who led for all but the opening 1:19. Brittany Davis had 18 points and 11 rebounds for the Crimson Tide (14-12, 5-10).
