Booker, Suns top Thunder for eighth straight victory

OKLAHOMA CITY — Devin Booker had 25 points, 12 assists and six steals to help Nba-leading Phoenix beat Oklahoma City 124-104 on Thursday for the Suns’ eighth straight win.

Booker played point guard with All-star Chris Paul (right thumb fracture) out and notched a season-high assist total as Phoenix (49-10) won for the 19th time in 20 games.

■ Bulls 112, Hawks 108: At Chicago, Demar Derozan had 37 points on 15-for21 shooting for Chicago, extending his NBA record of scoring at least 35 points while shooting 50 percent or better to eight straight games. The Bulls notched their sixth win in a row.

■ Nuggets 128, Kings 110: At Sacramento, Calif., Nikola Jokic had 25 points, 12 rebounds and nine assists for Denver, which won its fourth straight.

Domantas Sabonis had 33 points, 14 rebounds and six assists for Sacramento.

■ Timberwolv­es 119, Grizzlies 114:

At Minneapoli­s, D’angelo Russell scored 23 of his 37 points in the fourth quarter for Minnesota, including a tiebreakin­g 3-pointer with 1:23 left. Memphis didn’t lead over the final 7:11.

■ Celtics 129, Nets 106: At New

York, Jayson Tatum scored 30 points for Boston, which didn’t trail in its 10th win in 11 games and sixth in a row on the road. Brooklyn lost for the 13th time in 15 games.

■ Warriors 132, Trail Blazers 95:

At Portland, Ore., Stephen Curry had 18 points and 14 assists for Golden State, which won for the second time in six games. Portland had won four in a row.

■ Pistons 106, Cavaliers 103: At Detroit, Cade Cunningham hit four free throws in the final 46 seconds and totaled 17 points for Detroit, which opened the fourth quarter with a 10-1 run.
