■ Titans: Pro Bowl linebacker Harold Landry III (torn ACL) was placed on season-ending injured reserve. The 26-year-old, who has started every game the past three seasons, had a career- and teamhigh 12 sacks in 2021 and has a team-best 31 sacks over the past four seasons. Landry signed a five-year, $87.5 million extension in March, with $52.5 million guaranteed.

■ Texans: Tight end O.J. Howard signed a deal with undisclosed terms, four days after being cut by Buffalo. The 27-year-old Alabama product was the No. 19 pick of the 2017 draft by Tampa Bay, with whom he spent his first five NFL seasons. He has 119 catches for 1,737 yards and 15 TDS.

■ Eagles: Offensive tackle Andre Dillard sustained a nondisplaced forearm fracture Thursday but is expected to be available “for a majority of the season,” NFL Network reported. The 26-year-old has played in 31 games, with nine starts, since being the No. 22 pick of the 2019 draft.

■ Commanders: Rookie running back Brian Robinson Jr. was placed on the non-football injury list and will be sidelined for at least the season’s first four games after being shot twice in the right leg Sunday during a robbery attempt.

■ Rams: Cam Akers and Darrell Henderson, the team’s top two running backs, who have been dealing with unspecified “soft-tissue” injuries, are “good to go” for the season, coach Sean Mcvay said.
