No phones when laughing with Hart

- KATS! JOHN KATSILOMETES

KEVIN Hart is going phone-free for his upcoming “Reality Check Tour” shows at The Theatre at Resorts World Las Vegas. But you will be permitted to watch the performance on a streaming service.

Hart is confirmed for Nov. 18 and 19 at The Theatre, with the distilled version of the two shows to stand as his next comedy special. The streaming platform/platforms are to be announced. Hart’s most recent special, “Netflix Is a Joke: The Festival,” sold out Crypto.com Arena in L.A.

The likelihood of Hart headlining Resorts World was reported first in this space after he was said to be walking the property with president Scott Sibella.

Hart has also previously headlined at the Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

As is common in many headlining comedy shows, Hart is forbidding the use of phones throughout the performance. Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock and Amy Schumer are among the leading Vegas comedy headliners to pouch the phones.

Hart is co-starring in “Me Time” alongside fellow A-lister and new Las Vegas resident Mark Wahlberg. The film is streaming on Netflix.

Pauls, party of two

Adele posted a photo of her Emmy Award on Sunday. But fans are more interested in what seems a clue that she and Rich Paul are married.

Scheduled to open “Weekends With Adele” at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Nov. 18, Adele won an Emmy for outstanding variety special (pre-recorded) for “One Night Only” on CBS. The trophy was for the edited telecast of her show at the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles.

And there might be a visual Easter egg in the background of one of the photos she posted on Instagram and Twitter.

Shown just behind the award is a personalized box reading “The Paul’s.” The box looks like a Scrabble-style game. Or maybe dominoes. The nameplate is the type you would find at a formal group function.

The surname is, of course, prominent sports agent Rich Paul’s. This has led sharpeyed social media followers to question the couple’s marital status. The post is nearing 3 million likes on Instagram, with an additional 40,000 on Twitter.

Several followers posted such messages as “The Paul’s … is you married!?!” and, simply, “The Paul’s” with that lovey-dovey emoji with hearts as eyes.

Adele and Paul have been a public couple for about a year. Both have expressed interest in starting a family, with the singer saying she plans to have a baby in 2023. But they have not reported to be married.

Adele is now an Emmy, Grammy and Oscar winner.

She’s won an Academy Award for the “Skyfall” Bond theme and 15 Grammys prior to her Emmy Award. Adele played off the acronym, “Trust me to officially have an EGO.”

Biebs bows out

For the second time in the past four months, Justin Bieber has canceled a show in Las Vegas.

Bieber announced Tuesday he was forgoing his Sept. 30 performance scheduled for T-mobile Arena. That cancellation is among the batch of shows called off on his “Justice Tour.” The entire series has been suspended. In a statement, Bieber cited mental and physical health issues for the shutdown.

“Earlier this year I went public about my battle with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, where my face was partially paralyzed,” Bieber wrote. “As the result of this illness, I was not able to complete the North America leg of the Justice Tour.”

Bieber also scrapped his June 28 stop at T-mobile Arena. His most recent show was at the Rock in Rio festival in Brazil this past weekend. The 28-year-old superstar gave it his best shot but said, “After getting off stage, the exhaustion overtook me, and I realized that I need to make my health the priority right now.”

When you get caught …

Clint Holmes is performing one of his most adventurous shows yet, “Between the Moon and New York City: The Songs of Peter Allen,” at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Myron’s at The Smith Center. Bill Fayne is back as Holmes’ music director. Christine Shebeck is guest vocalist.

Holmes knew Allen in the 1980s, and interviewed him in 1987 when Holmes was a correspondent on “Entertainment Tonight.”

Holmes is touring the show at the Purple Room in Palm Springs, California, on Sept. 16; at Vitello’s in L.A. on Sept. 21 and 22; and at 54 Below in New York on Sept. 27 and 28.

I list those road dates because Myron’s is sold out (but keep checking The Smith Center site for returned tickets).

A road trip or even a flight to NYC might be in the offing.

Cool Hang Alert

We extol — extol, I tell you — the value of the M Resort’s robust lounge series. Singer/ songwriter/musician Will Champlin is at the M Bar at 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. Champlin was a finalist on Season 5 of “The Voice.” He was a member of Adam Levine’s team, finishing third behind champ Jacquie Lee and runner-up Tessanne Chin. Champlin is also the youngest son of Bill Champlin, who spent time with Chicago (he sings on “Hard Habit to Break,” among other classics) and co-wrote the hit “Turn Your Love Around.” No cover at the M Bar, and

(if memory serves) the seats swivel.
