RB Williams tears ACL; DE Gregory needs surgery
Broncos standout running back Javonte Williams is done for the season after tearing his right ACL on Sunday against the Raiders. And pass rusher Randy Gregory needs knee surgery and will miss multiple weeks. Williams got hurt on the first play of the third quarter when he was tackled for a loss. Williams and Gregory went for MRIS on Monday after returning to Denver.

Bowles says tight end Cameron Brate experienced delayed symptoms of a concussion after initially complaining about shoulder discomfort following a collision with a teammate during the first half of the Buccaneers’ 41-31 loss to Kansas City. Bowles said Brate didn’t complain about having concussion symptoms until halftime and was held out the remainder of the game.
■ Commanders: Brian Robinson Jr. has been cleared to practice with the Commanders just over five weeks since being shot in an attempted robbery. Coach Ron Rivera thinks there’s a chance the rookie running back could play in the team’s next game Sunday against Tennessee.
■ Panthers: Coach Matt Rhule says Baker Mayfield will remain the team’s starting quarterback for next Sunday’s game against San Francisco despite poor performances. Sam Darnold is eligible to return from injured reserve, but Rhule says Darnold wouldn’t be available until next week at the earliest.
■ Dolphins: Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the New York Jets as he continues to progress through concussion protocol, coach Mike Mcdaniel announced Monday.
■ Falcons: Atlanta placed running back Cordarrelle Patterson on injured reserve following minor knee surgery.
