Raiders CB Hobbs broke left hand in Week 5 loss

Raiders cornerback Nate Hobbs said he broke bones in his hand during Monday’s loss at Kansas City. The 23-year-old secondyear pro posted the update Wednesday on Instagram. Hobbs departed the game and was listed by the team as questionab­le to return with a thumb injury. He returned with a large cast on his left hand and played 57 of the 72 defensive snaps for the Raiders (1-4) in their 30-29 loss. Hobbs has started all five games this season, totaling 36 tackles.

■ Rams: After wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. tweeted Wednesday that the contract offer Los Angeles made to him wasn’t reflective of his worth, coach Sean Mcvay said he didn’t believe that would be the team’s final offer. Beckham, 29, a three-time Pro Bowl selection, signed with the Rams on Nov. 13 after Cleveland cut him. He had 21 catches for 288 yards and two touchdowns in four postseason games before sustaining a torn left ACL in the Super Bowl.

■ Dolphins: With starter Tua Tagovailoa and backup Teddy Bridgewate­r in concussion protocol, rookie QB Skylar Thompson will make his first NFL start Sunday, coach

Mike Mcdaniel said. Tagovailoa returned to the practice field for football activities Wednesday for the first since Sept. 28.

■ Bills: Cornerback Tre’davious White was cleared to practice for the first time since sustaining a torn ACL 11 months ago, opening a three-week window for the 27-year-old two-time Pro Bowl selection’s activation. He won’t play Sunday, coach Sean Mcdermott said.

■ Packers: QB Aaron Rodgers missed practice to get treatment for a right thumb injury sustained on the final play of Green Bay’s Week 5 loss to the New York Giants but expects to play Sunday, coach Matt Lafleur said.

■ Seahawks: Kickoff for the team’s home game Sunday against Arizona will be moved from 1:05 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. local time if there is a Game 4 of the baseball playoff series between Seattle and Houston.

■ Saints: QB Jameis Winston (back, ankle) returned to practice in limited capacity for the first time since Week 3.

■ Chargers: Five-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Keean Allen (hamstring), sidelined the past four games, returned to practice in limited capacity.
