ALEXANDER GEORGE STEFANOWICZ

-

Alexander George Stefanowicz entered into the presence of his Savior on December 7, 2022 at the age of 84. He was born in Danville, Pennsylvania, on October 1, 1938 to Agnes and Alexander Stefanovage. He and his wife, Shirley, married in 1967 and together they raised two children, Kari and Eric.

Al graduated from St. Francis High School in New York and went on to faithfully serve in the U.S. Air Force before performing security services at the Nevada Test Site. After moving to Las Vegas, he began his tenure with State Farm as an insurance agent and won numerous awards during his lengthy career there. Al's greatest joy was selflessly doting on his beautiful wife of 55 years and the happy couple took countless cruises to exotic locations all over the world. He also enjoyed camping with his wife and grandchildren, taking his motorhome on trips across the country. His home was always the social hub where he would gregariously man the grill and play in the pool with all of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Al was in his element at large family gatherings, always smiling, joking around, drinking a 'near beer' and sneaking candy to all of the kids.

Al is survived by his wife, Shirley; his children, Kari and Eric (Jane); his sister, Loretta; his cousin, Gertrude; his grandchildren, Darla (Glen), Kali, Erin, Lauren (Conor), Allison, and Eric Jr.; his greatgrandchildren Corinne, Ashtin, Hannah, Aiden, Makayla, Rylee, and Wren; and his great-great-grandson Kelso.

Al was predeceased by his parents and his beloved son-in-law Tony.

Memorial services will be held at

Bunker's Eden Vale Mortuary on December 19, 2022 at 12:30PM (visitation at 11:30AM) with interment at Memory Gardens at 2:00PM.
