CAROL ROTH

-

Carol “Bunnie” Roth, 79, of Henderson, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2022. Bunnie was born on October 26, 1943 in Washington, DC to Dr. Abraham and Eva Kasmer. Her loving family was with her constantly throughout her brief illness, but ultimately, after having lost her beloved husband, only five days earlier, she was just not able to live without him. At least we know they are back together now forever. “Papa” and “Gaga”, as their grandsons called them, are forever in our hearts, and forever together. She is predeceased by her parents; Jerry, her beloved husband of 59 years; and her brother, Frank “Snookie” Kasmer. She is survived by her three children, Michele, Andrea, and Mark; sister, Lenore Leon; three grandsons, Evan (Christie), Eric, and Josh Kaufman; and one of the highlights of her life, her brand new first great-granddaughter, Nora, who she saw almost daily since her birth this past August. They adored her immensely and she adored them. We were all with “Gaga” and “Papa” almost every day to help and support them. They shared an incredible bond. Bunnie was a stay-at-home-mom until the kids were grown and then she became the associate at Jerry Roth and Associates, a real estate firm. She and Jerry worked together beautifully in their business. She also loved being involved in the boxing community. She traveled the world by Jerry’s side for every fight he ever judged. They were never apart in life and are now back together again forever. Bunnie loved her family fiercely and always put them first, before everything else. Nothing was more important and she showed that in the way she lived her life. Her family, in return, put her first these last few years, when she needed us most. What an indescribable love we all had for each other. Bunnie was such an amazing wife, mother, sister, “Gaga”, and “Great-gaga”. Everyone loved her and she supported us all every day of our lives. She was the rock of our family and everyone always looked to her for guidance. She was an amazing woman and we will continue to live our lives to honor her and make her proud of all of us. Rest in peace, “Gaga”. We will miss you so much and think about you every day for the rest of our lives. We will aspire to be the kind of exceptional person you always were. Thank you for being such a fantastic role model, not only for your own three kids, but also for your adoring grandsons. You helped shape us all into the people we are and we are forever grateful. We will love and honor you always. You and dad are now together again forever and we know you will both be watching over all of us. A private graveside service for immediate family members was held at King David Memorial Cemetery on Friday, December 30, 2022. King David Memorial Chapel made the arrangements.
