TILLIE ANGELA FLORENCE

Tillie Angela Florence, 87 of Las Vegas Nevada [assed away on February 16, 2023. Tillie was born in Chicago, Illinois to Henry and Tillie Huntemann both had immigrated from Germany. She was preceded in passing by her brother Herbert and sister Patricia.

Tillie followed the footsteps of her father and completed higher education as an accountant. During her career Tillie worked in the banking, food, beverage and hospitality industry which led her to her joining one of the largest wine and spirits companies in Nevada as the credit manager for over 35 years. In her role as credit manager she contributed to the success of the company while managing customer profiles for many of Las Vegas and Southern Nevada's largest gaming and hospitality companies; she also contributed to many of the city's night life and restaurant owners.

Tillie enjoyed time with her family wherever possible and cherished the many pets that were in her life. She would take care of the neighborhood animals, feeding the birds and many a stray cat. Tillie contributed to the capture, spay and release of cats and adopted many as her lifelong companions. Every year she looked forward to going with her daughter Janet and son -in-law Rich to see the Clydesdales during the Christmas holidays.

She is survived by her children; son Douglas with his wife Kathleen, daughter - Karen, daughter - Janet with her husband Richard, and son - David. Grandchildren; Douglas Jr., Allen with his wife Edith, Michael, Michellejacqueline, Davis and Grace. Greatgrandchildren; Melania, Andrew and Estella.

Funeral services will be held privately A graveside service will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM on 2023-02-23 at Woodlawn Cemetery , 1500 North Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas NV.
