NEIL A. LUDVIGSON

-

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Neil A. Ludvigson on January 14, 2023. Neil was born in 1935 and grew up in Austin, MN. Neil spent much of his professional life traveling throughout the U.S., settling in Henderson, to enjoy retirement.

He was a wonderful and generous husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Neil was very proud to have served as a Captain and pilot in the US Air Force. Neil will be honored for his service by the U.S .A.F. honor guard at the cemetery. Neil was happiest when he was out on the open road, exploring new things on his motorcycle with Wife Susan on the back, or while riding with his Heaven’s Angels buddies.

Neil is survived by his loving and devoted wife of over 40 years Susan, wonderful son Todd (Patricia), his beloved grandchildren Becky (Mike), Craig (Amber),

Will (Ashlee), and great grandchildren (Rylie, Caleb, Isaac, Grace). His loved ones will always remember his kind heart, savviness, and infectious smile. Neil is now reunited with his mother Avis, and Father Earnest - there was not a day that went by that he did not miss them.

A Celebration of Life will be at 11am, Thu., Mar. 2, at Green Valley Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1799 Wigwam Pkwy, Henderson, NV 89074. Burial will follow at 1pm, with full military honors, at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Dr, Boulder City, NV 89005. In lieu of flowers, please donate to The VA Hospital of Henderson, Shriners Hospital for Children, or St. Jude Hospital for Children.
