Pregame injury to Durant doesn’t slow sizzling Suns

Devin Booker scored 30 of his 44 points in the first half as host Phoenix overcame Kevin Durant’s pregame injury to rout Oklahoma City 132-101. Durant, a 13-time All-star acquired Feb. 9 from Brooklyn, was to make his home debut for the Suns until rolling his left ankle during warmups. He’s scheduled to undergo an MRI examinatio­n Thursday. Durant has averaged 26.7 points and 7.3 rebounds in three games for Phoenix, which has won four in a row and five of its past six.

■ Bulls 117, Nuggets 96: At Denver, Nikola Vucevic had 25 points and 15 rebounds for Chicago, which moved within one game of Washington for the final spot in the play-in tournament.

Nikola Jokic had 18 points on 7-for-16 shooting and 12 rebounds for Denver, snapping a 51-game streak in which he had shot at least 50 percent. The Nuggets had won 24 of their previous 25 home games.

■ Pelicans 113, Mavericks 106: At New Orleans, C.J. Mccollum scored 13 of his 32 points in the final four minutes for New Orleans, which had lost six of its previous seven. Luka Doncic, Dallas’ top scorer, exited in the third quarter because of a left thigh strain and will undergo an MRI examinatio­n.

■ Clippers 108, Raptors 100: At Los Angeles, Kawhi Leonard had 24 points and 12 rebounds for Los Angeles, which won its second straight after a five-game skid. Toronto lost a second straight game for the first time since Feb. 1.

■ Cavaliers 104, Heat 100: At Miami, Daris Garland scored 25 points for Cleveland (42-26), which assured itself of a second straight winning season.

■ Celtics 115, Trail Blazers 93: At Boston, Jayson Tatum scored 30 points for Boston, which avoided its first fourgame skid this season. G League

■ Skyhawks 131, Ignite 105: At College Park, Ga., Donovan Williams scored 22 points and Brandon Williams 20 for College Park (25-18), which shot 54.7 percent while hitting 13 of 28 3-point tries in its second straight win and fourth in five games. Leonard Miller had 18 points for the Ignite (13-30) in their third consecutiv­e loss and seventh in nine games.
