Campbell pours it on, lifts UCLA into Pac-12 final

Tyger Campbell scored a career-high 28 points, including all seven during a key second-half run, as No. 2 UCLA beat Oregon 75-56 in a Pac-12 tournament semifinal Friday at T-mobile Arena.

Jaime Jaquez Jr. had 18 points for the top-seeded Bruins (29-4), who have won 12 straight and 26 of their past 28. One more victory likely would secure a No. 1 NCAA Tournament seed. They next face second-seeded and eighth-ranked Arizona in the final at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

Quincy Guerrier and Will Richardson each had 10 points and were the lone double-figure scorers for the fourth-seeded Ducks (19-14), who had won four in a row. They shot 33.3 percent but had a 42-34 edge in rebounds.

■ No. 8 Arizona 78, Arizona State 59: Azuolas Tubelis had 17 points and nine rebounds for the second-seeded Wildcats (27-6), who shot 56.4 percent while hitting 10 of 19 3-point tries. Frankie Collins and Jamiya Neal each scored 11 points to pace the sixth-seeded Sun Devils (22-12), who shot 32.3 percent and were outrebound­ed 45-29.

Mountain West men At Thomas & Mack Center

■ No. 20 San Diego State 64, San Jose State 49: Keshad Johnson and Darrion Trammell each scored 15 points for the top-seeded Aztecs (26-6), who moved to the conference title game for a sixth straight tournament. They next face third-seeded Utah State in the final at 3 p.m. Saturday. After trailing by one point early in the first half, SDSU went on an 18-4 run and didn’t trail again. Tibet Gorener scored 15 points for the fifth-seeded Spartans (20-13), who shot 34.5 percent.

■ Utah State 72, Boise State 62: Max Shulga scored 19 points for the third-seeded Aggies (26-7), who overcame an eight-point halftime deficit. Naje Smith and Marcus Shaver each had 14 points for the second-seeded Broncos (24-9).

Big West men At Dollar Loan Center

■ Cal State Fullerton 83, UC Irvine 80: Latrell Wrightsell scored 22 points for the fourth-seeded Titans (20-12), who shot 51.9 percent and didn’t trail over the final 17:50. They next face second-seeded UC Santa Barbara in the final at 6:30 p.m. Saturday. Dawson Baker had 22 points and D.J. Davis 20 for the top-seeded Anteaters (23-11), who shot 50.2 percent. Each team had 29 rebounds (21 on defense), 13 assists, 14 turnovers and 19 successful free throws.

■ UC Santa Barbara 92, UC Riverside 87: Miles Norris put the second-seeded Gauchos (26-7) ahead to stay with a 3-pointer with 13:10 left and totaled 16 points.
