Antetokoun­mpo scores 46; Bucks defeat Kings

Giannis Antetokoun­mpo had 46 points and 12 rebounds as the Milwaukee Bucks beat the host Sacramento Kings 133124 at Golden 1 Center. Khris Middleton scored 31 points and Brook Lopez added 23 for the Bucks, who are on the verge of becoming the first team to clinch a playoff berth this season.

Domantas Sabonis had 23 points, 17 rebounds and 15 assists for his 10th tripledoub­le of the season for Sacramento. Sabonis has a franchise-record 54 doubledoub­les, which leads the league. De’aaron Fox scored 35 points to lead the Kings, and Kevin Huerter had 17 of his 28 in the fourth quarter.

■ Grizzlies 104, Mavericks 88: At Dallas, Desmond Bane scored 23 points as Memphis won a second consecutiv­e game against Dallas. Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving were out for Dallas with injuries, and Ja Morant remained away from the Grizzlies because of his issues off the court.

■ Rockets 111, Celtics 109: At Houston, Jalen Green scored 28 points and rookie Jabari Smith Jr. added 24 for Houston, which snapped a three-game skid. Jaylen Brown scored a season-high 43 points for the Celtics. Boston had a chance to tie the game at the buzzer, but Jayson Tatum missed a layup.

■ Timberwolv­es 136, Hawks 115:

At Atlanta, Anthony Edwards scored 32 points in his hometown, and Kyle Anderson had his third career tripledoub­le to hand Atlanta its fourth loss in six games. Anderson finished with 14 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds.

■ Warriors 123, Suns 112: At San Francisco, Klay Thompson scored 33 of his 38 points in the first half, and Stephen Curry added 23 points, seven rebounds and five assists as Golden State won its eighth straight home game.

■ Heat 119, Jazz 115: At Miami, Jimmy Butler scored 24 points to lead seven Heat players in double figures. Tyler Herro and Gabe Vincent each scored 18.

■ Pistons 117, Pacers 97: At Detroit, James Wiseman had 18 points and 14 rebounds as Detroit ended an 11-game losing streak.

Lehkonen has 3 points, breaks finger in Avs victory

Artturi Lehkonen scored twice in Colorado’s four-goal first period and broke his finger as the Avalanche beat the Montreal Canadiens 8-4 at the Bell Centre. Lehkonen left the game at 12:57 of the second period. Avalanche coach Jared Bednar said Lehkonen will have surgery and there is no timeline for his return.

Valeri Nichushkin had a goal and two assists, Mikko Rantanen had a goal and an assist, and Nathan Mackinnon, J.T. Compher, Matt Nieto and Bowen Byram also scored for the Avalanche, who won for the third time in four games. Cale Makar had three assists, and Devon Toews and Logan O’connor each had two.

Alexandar Georgiev finished with 15 saves.

Josh Anderson had a goal and an assist, and Chris Wideman, Mike Matheson and Denis Gurianov also scored as the Canadiens fell to 0-5-2 over their last seven games. Nick Suzuki had two assists. Jake Allen was pulled early in the second quarter after giving up six goals on 15 shots. Sam Montembaul­t finished with 16 saves.

■ Sabres 4, Maple Leafs 3: At Toronto, Alex Tuch had two goals in his return from injury as Buffalo rallied from two goals down. The Sabres won for just the second time in eight games (2-5-1).

■ Stars 5, Kraken 2: At Seattle, Jason Robertson scored his 39th goal of the season for Dallas, which won for the sixth time in seven games.
