After video review, 76ers, Embiid win sixth straight
Joel Embiid had 36 points and 18 rebounds and played the final 4:12 after initially being called for his sixth foul, leading Philadelphia past host Cleveland 118-109 for the 76ers’ sixth straight win. James Harden added 28 points for Philadelphia, which was up 108-101 when Embiid was whistled for a charge. Sixers coach Doc Rivers successfully challenged the call. The Cavaliers had won five of their previous six.
■ Clippers 134, Warriors 126: At Los Angeles, Kawhi Leonard scored 30 points and Paul George 24 for Los Angeles, which overcame Stephen Curry’s 12th 50-point game and second this season to win its fourth in a row.
■ Celtics 104, Timberwolves 102:
At Minneapolis, Jaylen Brown scored 35 points for Boston, which overcame 40.5 percent shooting to win for the third time in four games. Minnesota didn’t lead after the first quarter.
■ Kings 117, Bulls 114: At Chicago, De’aaron Fox hit a 3-pointer with 0.7 seconds left and totaled 32 points for Sacramento, which overcame a 10-point halftime deficit in its fourth win in five games.
■ Mavericks 137, Spurs 128, OT: At San Antonio, UNLV product Christian Wood scored five of his 28 points in overtime and had 13 rebounds for Dallas, which halted a three-game skid.
■ Rockets 114, Lakers 110: At Houston, Kevin Porter Jr. scored 27 points for Houston, the West cellar dwellar, which won its second straight after beating Boston on Monday.
G LEAGUE
■ Skyforce 120, Ignite 116: At Dollar Loan Center, Jamal Cain had 38 points and 10 rebounds for Sioux Falls (27-19), which used a 40-28 third-quarter scoring edge to overcome a three-point halftime deficit in its third win in four games. Sidy Cissoko and John Jenkins each had 24 points for the Ignite (15-31), who shot 52.4 percent but had their two-game win streak end.
