Big rally by South Florida throttles No. 10 Memphis

Kasean Pryor hit a go-ahead free throw with four seconds left, capping visiting

South Florida’s rally from a 20-point secondhalf deficit to stun No. 10 Memphis 74-73 on Thursday. Pryor had 21 points and 10 rebounds, and reserve Selton Miguel scored 23 points for the Bulls (10-4, 3-1 AAC), who halted a 10-game win streak by the Tigers (15-3, 4-1). David Jones scored 18 of his 23 points in the first half for Memphis, which led 52-32 with 18:44 left.

■ No. 14 Illinois 88, Michigan 73: At Ann Arbor, Mich., Coleman Hawkins had 21 points and 10 rebounds for the Illini (13-4, 4-2 Big Ten), who didn’t trail after answering an opening basket by the Wolverines (7-11, 2-4) with an 11-0 run.

■ No. 23 Florida Atlantic 86, Wichita State 77: At Boca Raton, Fla., Alijah Martin scored 22 points and Johnell Davis 19 for the Owls (14-4, 4-1 AAC), who overcame an 11-point second-half deficit and dealt the Shockers (8-9, 0-4) their sixth straight loss — their longest skid since 2008-09.

■ Miami 73, No. 4 North Carolina State 59: At Coral Gables, Fla., Jasmyne Roberts, Shayeann Day-wilson and Lashae Dwyer each scored 18 points for the Hurricanes (12-5, 2-4 ACC), who shot 53.6 percent while holding the Wolfpack (15-2, 3-2) to 28.1 percent. N.C. State was without 6-foot5-inch center River Baldwin (17.5 ppg), its top scorer, for a third straight game because of an ankle injury. Miami had a 38-18 scoring edge in the paint.

■ No. 10 Louisiana State 78, Alabama 58: At Tuscaloosa, Ala., Angel Reese had 20 points and 17 rebounds for the Tigers (17-2, 4-1 SEC), who didn’t trail in the second half. The Crimson Tide (15-5, 2-3) shot 28.8 percent and were outrebound­ed 53-37.
