UNR snaps No. 22 Utah State’s home streak

Davidson scored a career-high 25 points and had 10 rebounds as UNR beat No. 22 Utah State 7763 to stop the Aggies’ 13-game home winning streak. Kenan Blackshear added 18 points for the Wolf Pack (18-5, 5-4 Mountain West), who topped an AP Top 25 team on the road for the first time since beating UNLV in 1981. Ian Martinez scored 16 points and Mason Falslev had 14 for the Aggies (19-4, 7-3), who have dropped two straight. Davidson had three of UNR’S four 3-pointers and picked up the slack as the Wolf Pack’s leading scorer Jarod Lucas struggled from the floor.

■ No. 1 Connecticu­t 71, Butler 61: At Hartford, Conn., Donovan Clingan had 18 points and 14 rebounds for the Huskies (21-2, 11-1 Big East), who won their 11th straight. The Bulldogs (15-8, 6-6) never led.

■ Clemson 80, No. 3 North Carolina 76: At Chapel Hill,

N.C., PJ Hall had 25 points along with the go-ahead putback with 3:14 left as the Tigers (15-7,

5-6 Atlantic Coast Conference) survived a blown 16-point lead. Armando Bacot had 24 points and 13 rebounds for the Tar Heels (18-5, 10-2).

■ No. 5 Houston 79, Oklahoma State 63: At Houston, Jamal Shead had 23 points for the Cougars (20-3, 7-3 Big 12), who limited the Cowboys (10-13, 2-8) to 40 percent shooting.

■ No. 13 Baylor 79, No. 23 Texas Tech 73: At Waco, Texas, Rayj Dennis scored 21 points, and 7-foot Baylor freshman Yves Missi had 17 points for the Bears (17-5, 6-3 Big 12), who handed the Red Raiders (16-6, 5-4) their third consecutiv­e loss.

■ No. 14 Iowa State 70, Texas 65: At Austin, Texas, Milan Momcilovic scored 13 points for the Cyclones (17-5, 6-3 Big 12), who held the Longhorns (15-8, 4-6) to 19 points in the first half.

■ No. 15 South Carolina 68, Mississipp­i 65: At Columbia, S.C., Collin Murray-boyles scored 16 points as the Gamecocks (203, 8-2 Southeaste­rn Conference) reached 20 victories for the first time in seven years. The Rebels (18-5, 5-5) lost their second straight.

■ No. 17 Kentucky 109, Vanderbilt 77: At Nashville, Tenn., Antonio Reeves scored 24 points and led six Wildcats (16-6, 6-4) in double figures. The Commodores (6-16, 1-8) had a two-game win streak against Kentucky snapped.

■ No. 18 Dayton 94, Saint Joseph’s 79: At Philadelph­ia, Nate Santos and Kobe Elvis each scored 21 points for the Flyers (19-3, 9-1 Atlantic 10). Cameron Brown led the Hawks (15-8, 5-5) with 19 points.

77, Air Force 64: At Air Force Academy, Colo., Reese Waters scored 15 points, making five of the Aztecs (18-5, 7-3 Mountain West) season-high 11 3-pointers. The Falcons have lost nine straight to San Diego State (8-14, 1-9).

■ No. 25 New Mexico 91, Wyoming 73: At Laramie, Wyo., Donovan Dent had 19 points and seven assists, and Jaelen House added 17 points and eight rebounds for the Lobos (19-4, 7-3 Mountain West), who outrebound­ed the Cowboys (1211, 5-5) 51-35.

■ Oklahoma 82, No. 21 Brigham Young 66: At Norman, Okla., Javian Mccollum scored 20 points, including 15 in the second half for Oklahoma (17-6, 5-5 Big 12). Fousseyni Traore had 21 points to lead the Cougars (16-6, 4-5), whose two-game streak was snapped.
