Avatar: The Last Airbender

Netflix ■ New Series

This live-action reimaginin­g of the beloved animated series follows Aang (Gordon Cormier), the young Avatar, as he learns to master the four elements — water, earth, fire and air — to restore balance to a world threatened by the terrifying Fire Nation, led by Fire Lord Ozai (Daniel Dae Kim). Ian Ousley, Kiawentiio, Dallas Liu, Paul Sun-hyung Lee and Ken Leung also lead the cast.

Young Sheldon

In the new episode “A Roulette Wheel and a Piano Playing Dog,” Sheldon (Iain Armitage) realizes he is the weakest student in his class.

Next Level Chef

The 14 remaining chefs are tasked with preparing a curry dish that promises to pack a punch with only 30 minutes on the clock in the new episode “Curry in a Hurry.”

When a woman is found murdered in Central Park, evidence points to two frequent parkgoers — a street vendor and a tech billionair­e. In the face of extreme political pressure, Mccoy (Sam Waterston) takes drastic action to make the case in the new episode “Last Dance.”

The Ex Obsession

Happily married to her husband, John (B.J. Britt), Kim (Chaley Rose) is shocked to learn John’s new co-worker is her ex-boyfriend Grant (Anthony Dalton II). Unwilling to spoil John’s excitement, Kim and Grant decide to keep their history a secret. But when John sees Kim and Grant out together one day, he becomes consumed by jealousy and confronts Kim. The situation escalates after John arrives home to find them together again, leading to a desperate coverup that spirals into obsession.

In the new episode “Man of Your Dreams,” Sam (Rose Mciver) learns that one of the ghosts’ powers is to enter the dreams of the living and influence their decisions.

Farmer Wants a Wife

Season Finale

The season concludes with back-to-back hourlong episodes. First, in “The Sword and the Shield,” Martin Luther King Jr. (Kelvin Harrison Jr.) and Malcolm X (Aaron Pierre) meet briefly in Washington, D.C., while supporting the passage of the Civil Rights Act. King wins the Nobel Peace Prize, Malcolm forms two new organizati­ons, and both men are under scrutiny and surveillan­ce. Then, in “Can You Imagine,” the two leaders are assassinat­ed, but their legacies continue to inspire.

Law & Order: Organized Crime

NBC, 10 p.m.

In the new episode “Missing Persons,” a rescued victim from Stabler’s (Christophe­r Meloni) past goes missing. Meanwhile, Bell (Danielle Moné Truitt) recovers in the hospital as Jet (Ainsley Seiger), Reyes (Rick Gonzalez) and Bashir (Abubakr Ali) are all questioned by IAB; and Joe Jr. (Michael Trotter) shows off his new career path.
