Doncic, Mavericks down Suns, notch seventh straight victory

Luka Doncic had 41 points, 11 assists and nine rebounds as host Dallas beat Phoenix 123-113 on Thursday for the Mavericks’ season-best seventh straight win. Kyrie Irving scored 29 points for Dallas (33-23), which pulled even with the Suns in the standings and took the head-tohead tiebreaker with a 2-1 record. Devin Booker had 35 points and Kevin Durant 23 for Phoenix, which led 54-43 midway through the second quarter.

■ Nuggets 130, Wizards 110: At Denver, Nikola Jokic had 21 points on 10-for-10 shooting, 19 rebounds and 15 assists for Denver, joining Lebron James and Russell Westbrook as the lone NBA players with a triple-double against every opponent. Washington lost its ninth in a row.

■ Magic 116, Cavaliers 109: At Cleveland, Moritz Wagner had 22 points for Orlando, which had a 63-24 edge in scoring by reserves in its fourth win in five games. Cleveland, which lost for the third time in 21 games, was without top scorer Donovan Mitchell (illness).

■ Thunder 129, Clippers 107: At Oklahoma City, Shai Gilgeous-alexander scored 31 points for Oklahoma City, which won its third straight and sixth in eight games. Los Angeles has alternated wins and losses for its past six games.

■ Warriors 128, Lakers 110: At San Francisco, Stephen Curry scored 32 points for Golden State in its seventh win in eight games. Los Angeles, which was without Lebron James (left ankle injury), had won six of its previous seven.

■ Knicks 110, 76ers 96: At Philadelph­ia,

Jalen Brunson had 21 points and 12 assists for New York, which halted a four-game skid. Tyrese Maxey scored 35 points for Philadelph­ia in its sixth loss in eight games.

■ Celtics 129, Bulls 112: At Chicago, Derrick White scored 28 points and Jayson Tatum 25, and each hit five of the 23 3-pointers by Boston, which won its seventh straight and ninth in 10 games.

■ Raptors 121, Nets 93: At Toronto, Gary Trent Jr. scored 25 points for Toronto, which halted a three-game home skid with its first win in 12 games against Atlantic Division foes this season.

■ Kings 127, Spurs 122: At Sacramento,

Calif., Domantas Sabonis had 22 points, 11 assists and 11 rebounds for Sacramento, which dealt San Antonio its ninth loss in 10 games.

■ Hornets 115, Jazz 107: At Salt Lake City, Miles Bridges had 26 points and 14 rebounds for Charlotte, which hit 20 of 42 3-point tries in its fourth straight win. Utah lost its fifth in a row.

■ Pelicans 127, Rockets 105: At New Orleans, Zion Williamson had 27 points and nine assists for New Orleans, which won its fourth straight and eighth in nine games.

■ Pacers 129, Pistons 115: At Indianapol­is, Tyrese Haliburton had 25 points and 13 assists for Indiana, which dealt Detroit its fourth straight loss.
