Brown, Tatum lead Celtics to 50th win

PORTLAND, Ore. — Jaylen Brown had 27 points and Jayson Tatum added 26 for the Boston Celtics in a 121-99 victory Monday night over the Portland Trail Blazers, despite the absence of two key starters. Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis were sidelined with injuries for the Eastern Conference-leading Celtics, who have already clinched a playoff spot with 18 games remaining in the season. Boston, which has won an Nbaleading 21 games on the road this season, earned its 50th victory of the season. Deandre Ayton had 22 points and 15 rebounds for the Blazers, who are second-to-last in the West.

■ Nuggets 125, Raptors 119: At Denver, Jamal Murray scored 12 of his 26 points in the fourth quarter as the Nuggets rallied from down 21 in the third quater. Murray added 12 assists to go along with Nikola Jokic’s 21st triple-double of the season. Jokic finished with 35 points, 17 rebounds and 12 assists.

■ Mavericks 127, Bulls 92: At Chicago, Luka Doncic had 27 points, recording another triple-double but doing so without scoring 30 for the first time in seven games. Doncic finished with 14 assists and 12 rebounds.

■ Suns 117, Cavaliers 111: At Cleveland, Kevin Durant scored 37 points and Devin Booker had 27 in his return from a right ankle sprain. Cleveland’s Donovan Mitchell missed his seventh straight game.

■ Pistons 114, Hornets 97: At Detroit, Cade Cunningham scored 12 of his 22 points in the first quarter as they swept the three-game season series against Charlotte.

■ Warriors 112, Spurs 102: At San Antonio, Jonathan Kuminga scored 21 points and Klay Thompson added 20 as Golden State held San Antonio to one point in the final 2:43.
