Three goals, three assists by Point propel Lightning to win
Brayden Point had three goals and three assists, and Nikita Kucherov added a goal and four assists as host Tampa Bay rallied past the Metro-leading New York Rangers 6-3. The Lightning overcame deficits of 2-0 and 3-2. Point’s six points tied a single-game franchise record.

■ Sabres 4, Islanders 0: At Buffalo, N.Y., Ukko-pekka Luukkonen stopped 21 shots in his fifth shutout this season, and Zach Benson scored twice in Buffalo’s third straight win.
■ Devils 6, Stars 2: At Dallas, Jake Allen totaled 35 saves after yielding goals on two of Dallas’ first three shots. New Jersey was outshot 37-20.
