Falcons, Eagles under investigation for breaching policies on tampering
The NFL is reviewing whether Atlanta and Philadelphia violated tampering policies during the free-agent negotiating window. Teams are permitted to talk directly with agents during the 52-hour window but can’t speak to players unless they represent themselves.
■ Cardinals: Quarterback Desmond Ridder was acquired from Atlanta for wide receiver Rondale Moore. Ridder, 24, went 8-9 in 17 starts with the Falcons. Moore, 23, had 135 catches for 1,201 yards, ran for 249 yards and scored four TDS in three seasons with Arizona.
■ Seahawks: Quarterback Sam Howell and 2024 fourthand sixth-round draft picks were acquired from Washington for 2024 third- and fifth-rounders. Howell, 23, went 4-13 in his first season as a starter last year.
■ Chiefs: Free-agent wide receiver Marquise Brown agreed to a one-year, $11 million deal. The 26-year-old spent the past two seasons with Arizona after three with Baltimore. He has 313 catches for 3,644 yards and 28 TDS in five NFL seasons.
■ Bears: Wide receiver Keenan Allen was acquired from the Los Angeles Chargers for a 2024 fourth-round draft pick. The 31-year-old six-time Pro Bowler had spent his entire 11year NFL career with the Chargers.
■ Dolphins: Free-agent cornerback Kendall Fuller agreed to a two-year, $16.5 million deal. The 29-year-old spent the past four seasons with the Commanders after two years each with Kansas City and Washington.
■ Vikings: Free-agent defensive tackle Jerry Tillery agreed to a one-year, $3.75 million deal. The 27-year-old spent the past two seasons with the Raiders after four with the Los Angeles Chargers.
■ Jaguars: Free-agent defensive tackle Arik Armstead agreed to a three-year, $51 million deal. The 30-year-old spent the past nine seasons with San Francisco.
■ Eagles: Free-agent linebacker Devin White agreed to a one-year, $7.5 million deal. He spent his first five NFL seasons with Tampa Bay, totaling 364 tackles and 23 sacks.
■ Bills: Free-agent wide receiver Curtis Samuel agreed to a three-year, $30 million deal. The 27-year-old spent the past three seasons with Washington after four with Carolina.
■ Panthers: Free-agent defensive end D.J. Wonnum agreed to a two-year, $12.5 million deal. The 26-year-old spent the past four seasons with Minnesota, totaling 23 sacks.
■ Bengals: Free-agent defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins agreed to a two-year, $26 million deal. The 29-year-old has 29.5 sacks in eight NFL seasons with three teams.
