- From staff and wire reports

Erick Fedde pitched six scoreless innings, fellow Las Vegas native Tommy Pham had two hits and an RBI, and the host Chicago White Sox held off first-place Cleveland 3-2 on Thursday.

Fedde (3-0) allowed three singles and walked none as the 31-year-old Las Vegas High and UNLV product lowered his ERA to 3.00 in his first season with Chicago. Pham, 36, a Durango High product, has batted .313 in 12 games with the White Sox.

Rookie Jordan Leasure relieved Fedde with the bases loaded and no outs in the seventh and notched two strikeouts and a groundout. Jose Ramirez and Josh Naylor hit back-to-back solo homers off Chicago reliever John Brebbia with two outs in the eighth. ■ MILB: The Elias Sports Bureau expanded its decades-long MLB partnership to become the official statistician for the 11 leagues at the Triple-a, Double-a, High-a and Single-a levels. The plan is to ensure the integrity, accuracy and relevance of minor league numerical data.
