LEBANON - Paul H. Sando, Jr., 81, passed away on August 8, 2023, at the VA Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 17, 1941, in Lebanon, PA, to his parents Paul H. Sando, Sr. and Beatrice V. Sando nee Sherman. Paul had a distinguis­hed career with IBM, where he dedicated 30 years of his life. His dedication and hard work left a lasting impact on the company and his colleagues. In addition to his profession­al accomplish­ments, Paul also served in the Air Force from 1959 to 1967. His time in the military further demonstrat­ed his commitment to serving others and his country. Outside of work and military service, Paul had a passion for running the Church Sound System at Zion Evangelica­l Lutheran Church. He took great joy in ensuring that the church services were filled with beautiful music and clear sound for all attendees. Paul was also an avid traveler and enjoyed exploring new places alongside his family. His curiosity and adventurou­s spirit led to many memorable experience­s shared with loved ones throughout the years. He is survived by his daughter Dawn M. Yeagley and her spouse Michael, as well as his grandson Jeremy R. Yeagley. Paul’s family meant the world to him, and he treasured every moment spent with them. He was preceded in death by wife Roberta W. Sando nee Feeman. A visitation will be held on August 18, 2023, from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Zion Evangelica­l Lutheran Church located at 28 N 9th St in Lebanon, PA. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held at Grand View Memorial Park in Annville, PA, on August 18, 2023, from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM. Paul will be remembered for his dedication to his work, his service to his country, and the love he shared with his family. He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
