ANNVILLE - Robert C. “Bob” Long, 69, passed away on Monday, December 25, 2023 at his residence with his loving wife and son by his side, under the care of WellSpan Hospice. He was the loving husband of Suanne M. ( Wolfe) Long to whom he was married 39 years on December 15th.

Born in Lebanon, he was the son of the late Mervin C. “Dutch” and Pauline “Polly” (Daub) Long. Bob graduated from Annville-Cleona High School and the Lebanon VoTech in 1973. He retired from Stone Ridge Town Center Communitie­s as director of maintenanc­e. He previously had worked at the Lebanon Steel Foundry and Loose’s Lumber in Myerstown. Bob was a Boy Scout leader with Troop #458 in Cleona, collected toy trains and enjoyed camping, gardening, woodworkin­g and electronic­s. He designed and built his home in Annville and was a ham radio operator with a handle N3JOY. Bob was a past member of the Union Hose and Cleona Fire Companies and enjoyed camping every year at Locust Lake with his family. He was a life member of the Lebanon County Fireman’s Associatio­n and loved the Phillies and visiting the Antique Auto show in Hershey.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son Robert M. “Bobby” Long. Bob is also survived by a sister-in-law Cynthia, wife of Donald Shiner, and four brothers in law Ronald Wolfe and wife Brenda, Michael Wolfe and wife Susan, Dean Wolfe, and Jerry Wolfe and wife Terri; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 11AM from Kreamer Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will be held in Grand View Memorial Park. Viewings will be held Tuesday evening from 6-8PM and on Wednesday from 10AM until the time of his service at the funeral home.

Bob’s family would like to thank WellSpan Hospice, especially Dawn, Lisa, Melissa, Nicole, Pat, Theresa, and Chaplain Don for their dedication and care which allowed Bob to be at home during his illness.
