How much snow fell?
The first storm in the new year delivered anywhere from an inch to about 4 inches of snow in York and Lebanon counties, according to the National Weather Service.
The storm on Saturday broke the snow drought at Harrisburg International Airport, the weather service reported.
It had been 345 days since the last measurable snowfall, which was a trace on Jan. 25, 2023.
Heavier accumulations were reported north of York County. A spot near Harrisburg in Dauphin County and Enola in Cumberland County recorded half a foot of snow, the weather service reported.
Cashtown in Adams County picked up 5.8 inches of snow.
Other areas in the state received even higher amounts. Nine inches were recorded near Claysburg in Blair County, the weather service reported.

● West, southwest of Dover: 2.0
● Near New Salem: 1.5 inches
● Loganville: 1.5 inches
● Near Emigsville: 1.5 inches
● Near Spring Grove: 1.3 inches
● Wrightsville: 1.3 inches
● South of Hanover: 1.3 inches
● South, southeast of Hanover: 1 inch
● Near Stewartstown: 1 inch

The National Weather Service reported the following snowfall totals for Lebanon County:
North of Lebanon: 4.2 inches
Lebanon: 4 inches
South of Palmyra: 3.5 inches
Northwest of Palmyra: 3 inches
Southwest of Lebanon: 2.5 inches
South southeast of Lebanon: 1 inch
