Louisville locks down Se­ton Hall to earn road win

Jor­dan Nwora made four free throws in the fi­nal minute and Chris­ten Cun­ning­ham scored five points in the fi­nal two min­utes, lead­ing Louisville to a 70-65 win over Se­ton Hall on Sat­ur­day af­ter­noon in Ne­wark, N.J.

The Car­di­nals (5-2), fresh off a vic­tory over No. 8 Michi­gan State Tues­day over­turned a nine-point se­cond-half Se­ton Hall lead.

The Car­di­nals kept Se­ton Hall lead­ing scorer Myles Pow­ell (23 points on 6-of-19 shoot­ing) mostly in check, es­pe­cially down the stretch. Se­ton Hall (4-3) con­nected on just 2 of 21 shots dur­ing the fi­nal seven min­utes of the game.
