Music Suit

The estate of Anthony Barre — a Youtube star better known as Messy Mya, who was murdered in 2010 — filed a $20 million copyright suit against Beyoncé on Feb 7, alleging the Grammy winner, 35, sampled vocals from Messy’s viral videos in her “Formation” song without permission. The estate claims to have reached out to Bey, 35, with no response.
