BEY AND JAY ARE BATTLING THEIR NEIGHBORS
Beyoncé and Jay-z recently moved into a $400,000-a-month Malibu rental, and they already have 99 problems with their neighbors. The powerhouse couple are butting heads with former Dancing With the Stars hostess Brooke BurkeCharvet and her husband, actor David Charvet, who are in the midst of a construction project on their property next door. Bey, 35, and Jay, 47, have “complained about the noise and the amount of cars and people that come and go from the site,” reveals an insider, adding that police were called. The Carters have even made a fuss about the taco truck that pulls up at lunchtime with meals for the construction workers. “Their complaints have caused delays in Brooke and David’s progress,” the insider says. “The Charvets have had it with their new neighbors.” It’s understandable that Bey and Jay want quiet, especially with 1-month-old twins Sir and Rumi joining daughter Blue, 5, in their new 10-bedroom mansion. But the Charvets, both 45, feel they aren’t doing anything wrong. Brooke and David aren’t currently living in the home under construction but “David owns the land, he’s building on it, and he’s very respectful about the noise and his neighbors,” the insider says. “He’s very considerate.” Now word is spreading fast around Malibu that Jay and Bey have an unneighborly attitude. “The Charvets are trying to figure out how to move forward,” the insider says. “There’s plenty of room in Malibu for everyone, but Beyoncé and Jay seem to think they own all of it!”
