It’s a boy! On Oct. 25, Jessica Alba, 36, announced on Instagram that she and husband Cash Warren, 38, are expecting their first son. The couple are parents to daughters Haven, 6, and Honor, 9. • Just 19 months after welcoming a son, Ne-yo, 38, and wife Crystal Smith, 31, announced on Oct. 25 that they’re expecting again. The singer also has a son and a daughter from a previous relationship.

Renée Zellweger, 48, will star as Judy Garland in Judy, an upcoming biopic set 30 years after the legendary actress played Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, it was announced Oct. 23.

A month shy of their ninth anniversary, singer Tamar Braxton, 40, filed for divorce from record producer Vincent Herbert, 44, on Oct. 24. The duo have a son, 4.

on Sports Night. His wife, Donna, said he had been battling prostate cancer. • Scott Putesky, who cofounded Marilyn Manson and the Spooky Kids and played guitar under the pseudonym Daisy Berkowitz, died of cancer Oct. 22. He was 49.
