More than five years after calling off their engagement, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth exchange vows at their home in Tennessee

After years of breaking up and making up, Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus say “I do” — and Life & Style has all the details!

She can be tamed! Nearly a decade after falling in love on the set of The Last Song, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth secretly tied the knot at their Franklin, Tenn., home on Dec. 23.

Having recently lost the Malibu mansion they shared in the devastating California wildfires, “A big fancy wedding just didn’t seem important anymore,” spills a source close to the couple, who were seen cutting a flower-adorned cake with Mr. and Mrs. balloons f loating in the background of an Instagram story shared by surfer Conrad Carr. “Guests danced, drank tequila shots and ate fried chicken, cat- fish and barbecue.” Only a handful of close friends and family were on hand for the ultra-private nuptials, which came three years after the bride, 26, and groom, 28, reconciled following a shocking two- year split. “Liam’s brothers were there,” adds the source, “as were Miley’s siblings and mom Tish — everyone that matters most to them.”

FATHER OF THE BRIDE

Everyone except one VIP: Miley’s father, Billy Ray Cyrus. “It was a day filled with laughter and joy, but there were also some tears shed,” the source notes. The fact that the 57-yearold “Achy Breaky Heart” singer snubbed his eldest daughter’s down- home nuptials came as a huge surprise to many.

“There was a dark cloud hovering over an otherwise perfect day,” says the source. “Whispers that there was some kind of falling out between Tish and Billy Ray, since they’ve split up a few times over the years, were rampant,” the source divulges. But according to another insider, Miley knew her dad wouldn’t make it: “Billy Ray couldn’t be there due to personal reasons, but she did Facetime him.”

THE NEXT CHAPTER

Rather than let her father take a wrecking ball to their big day, the newlyweds focused on the future. “Miley and Liam have been acting like a married couple for years but now it’s official,” says the source, adding that more good news may be on the horizon. “The buzz is that Miley’s already pregnant — that’s why they did this hushhush wedding!”

Should the odds be ever in their favor, “Miley will

be the best mom. Kids just love her,” the source insists. “Liam’s the fun uncle, so he’s a natural, too.” And while they may be calling Nashville home for now, “Miley and Liam want to raise their children in Malibu,” says the source. “He wants his kids swimming and surfing as soon as they’re out of diapers.”
